Stanford Physics Fellows Interdisciplinary Research & Fellowship Support
In collaboration with the Stanford Physics Department, the Foundation awarded four new graduate students the Shoucheng Zhang Fellowship for research in materials science and condensed matter physics. It also co-hosted the 2024 Shoucheng Zhang Conference on Quantum Science and Engineering with Stanford Q-FARM at Chaminade Resort & Spa, uniting over 50 faculty, students, and researchers to exchange ideas and explore future collaborations.

Elevate Tutoring Partnership STEM Education for First-Gen Scholars
The Foundation continued its partnership with Elevate Tutoring, providing scholarships to first-generation college students who, in turn, delivered free STEM tutoring to underserved middle and high school students. As part of this initiative, over 300 tutor fellows have contributed more than 19,000 hours of STEM tutoring. Two Foundation-supported fellows—Kate Duong and Niklas Feil-Haw—celebrated their graduation this year.

AASF Youth Science Program Empowering Asian American Student Leaders
The Foundation sponsored the Youth Ambassador for Science Competition organized by the Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF), aiming to spark scientific curiosity, cultural pride, and leadership among young students. The initiative honors the contributions of Asian American pioneers in STEM and public service while encouraging the next generation to dream boldly and pursue innovation.
